Kiwanis Club
Our Kiwanis Club is a local chapter of the National Organization of
Kiwanis International. The public service club is responsible
for many notable community endeavors, including the summer little
league program, Christmas food baskets, and our annual Christmas
festival and chili cook-off. Kiwanis' major fundraiser is the annual
pancake breakfast, held each spring -- a community favorite. The
Club is also sponsoring the 2007 Sucker Day
Celebration.
The Key Club, a member of the Kiwanis International family, is a
student-led organization whose members build themselves as they
build their schools and communities. The Key Club assists in
almost all of the Kiwanis Club's activities and projects.
Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture
Wetumka's Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is one of the most
organized and active in the area. One
of the Chamber's notable projects is its annual sponsorship of the
Wetumka livestock shows.
